Fat-reduced roasted Hazelnut flour is obtained from  Hazelnut pulp that is the by-product of  hazelnut oil extraction. 

It is

  • Low in fat content (max% 2)
  • Low in humidity (max% 2)
  • No Acid Value
  • No Peroxide value
  • Light Brown in color
  • Odor: The smell of roasted nuts, shelled
  • Size: 100-150 microns

fat-reduced roasted Hazelnut flour is rich in  calcium and potassium. It contains a small amount of Niacin and  Vit B and its derivatives,  and  it contains  iron, copper, sodium, manganese, zinc and magnesium as minerals.

Some industry applications of fat-reduced roasted Hazelnut flour

It can be used in chips, biscuits, gluten free- , cereal-  and bakery products.
It can give a light cacao color to the dough and it has a natural hazelnut aroma. Because of its poor fat content, it is an ideal ingredient for healthy snacks.

Its rich protein content makes it attractive to be used as raw material in cosmetics or in animal food.

The flour itself is 'enzymes inhibited', making the shelf life of a product or keeping the freshness of a dough longer.
